I am currently focused on Sustainable Performance initiatives as a Design Lead on the Talent Design + Learning team at Airbnb. Our team creates industry leading well-being and employee development programs which help amplify our unique work culture.
Before I moved into the talent realm, I spent a decade in TV production, development, and team management -- building content and running production crews for outlets including CNBC, MSNBC, Bloomberg TV, and CBS News.
During this time, I noticed a systemic burnout in the media industry and became compelled to understand how and why, exactly, my colleagues and I were becoming so crippled by stress. I began a graduate degree in psychology with a stress and trauma focus at The New School for Social Research in New York. I am currently finishing my graduate work at the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA.
I am also a Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor. After 10 years of personal practice, I became a teacher to further investigate using attention and movement to counter over-stimulation and burnout.
